Choice Waste Management Ltd is a recycler of plastic, paper and cardboard waste including waste packaging.

The company was established by Rizwan Iqbal in 1997 after identifying opportunities throughout the world in waste recycling. From its small origins the company has since grown into an organisation reckonable with any other in its field, being an accredited exporter of packaging waste (being able to issue PERNs), a registered waste carrier and registered also as an exporter of waste materials to China with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection & Quarantine of the P.R. of China (AQSIQ)

To operate such an organisation requires high calibre staff to manage efficient systems and control. Following careful selection individuals each is assessed for training needs both internal and external. Training is updated on a regular basis to ensure that the company complies with all regulatory requirements.

The company has a policy of no compromise on safety and quality and its quality system is accredited to BS EN ISO9001. The company’s environmental systems are accredited to BS EN ISO14001.

The company’s head office is in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, UK and has agents throughout the UK and Europe including Italy, Spain, Norway, Belgium and Holland. The site in Biggleswade has an 800m² warehouse equipped with process and handling equipment.

The company recognises the demands and legislation that are necessary for safe control of waste recycling and it is because of these and the dedication and concern by the directors that the organisation will continue to develop and grow to meet these challenges in a responsible manner; the company constantly seeks partners to share in its future plans.
